Lord of War's promo poster features an Arcimboldoesque conglom of bullet shells forming Cage's face. He's a arms dealer, so he is made of bullets. This literal execution dovetails nicely with a film bluntly hammering out its relentless message of, as the Times says, "guns are bad, corporations are soulless, and some first world governments traffic in third world misery. To which any reasonably informed viewer might be expected to wonder, And your point is what, exactly?" Irregardless, the characters dialog this again and again, in case we were either blind to the action occurring in the film, or the news.
