Here's the "banned" ipod commercial showcasing Eminem, courtesy of Screenhead. It debuted in Apple's keynote press conference before being mysteriously yanked. The best part is where Eminem checks some shadow boy (pictured) into the ground. It's certainly much better than the new ineffectual Cingular ipodphone ads with the people's reflections dancing around, pisspoor derivatives. Maybe because Cingular ads always suck. If memory serves, the first Cingular ad was during the Superbowl five years ago. The main conceit was a speech impedimented paraplegic who paintbrushes with his feet. The connection was that Cingular helped him be more expressive.
UPDATE: Adfreak thinks maybe it was too similar to a Lugz ad. T0 stream and compare, go here, then click Archive, then Lugz, then 01. However, it did broadcast over the weekend. So it's not banned after all. Yay.
UPDATE: The video is online at Apple's site. However, it crashed the quicktime in both my Firefox and IE. So maybe it was technical difficulties, rather than some c - o - n- spiracy.
