Gawker Media Network has launched a new blog, The Consumerist. You can go there and watch gripes about products and companies, mad Gawker style, y'all! That is to say it "tracks the delinquencies of retail and service organizations.” Conveniently deployed before Christmas time, no less. Unfortunately it looks likes a haunted goth site but maybe they'll re-design before my eyeballs implode. Props to the network for making one hell of a safe bet. A blog complaining about products? Gee, whodathunkit. And as Steve Rubel points out, "who will want to advertise on it?" Companies that make good products that people like, perhaps.
